Question 1

What types of team events do you organize?

Accepted Answer

No fixed catalogue – every format starts from the brief. My 12-month statistics show the highest NPS comes from: cooking workshops for 8–24 people (9.1 average across 18 events), Olympic-format summer days for 40–80 (8.5 average), and small leadership retreats on islands for 6–12 people (9.3 average). I actively discourage 60+ person escape-room formats – I learned the hard way that they suffer from acoustic and facilitator-ratio problems (see our [honest case study from an event that went sideways](/blogi/kui-tiimiuritus-laks-plaanist-mooda/), Estonian only). Every concept starts with one question: what is the single clearest goal of this event?

Question 2

What is the difference between team building and a team event?

Accepted Answer

"Team building" specifically means structured activity with a learning element (a facilitator-led debrief afterwards). A "team event" is broader – anything from a summer day to a gala dinner. Pattern from 200+ briefings: about 80% of clients who say "team building" actually want a shared experience without the debrief. The price difference is real: a true team building for 30 people with a coach and structured reflection is €4,500–€7,000, while a normal team event for the same group is €2,700–€4,200. A good partner will tell you which one you actually need.

Question 3

Do you organize events in English for international companies?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is one of our strengths. Three rules I've learned from 40+ international events: (1) use an English-language facilitator, not a translator – translation kills humour and momentum; (2) assume 25–35% vegetarian/vegan as a default, with halal, kosher, gluten-free as standard options; (3) one cultural element per day (sauna OR black bread OR folk story), not the full "Estonia bingo" – overloaded culture days leave a blurry impression.

Question 4

How much does a team event in Estonia cost?

Accepted Answer

Concrete 2026 numbers from my last 12 months of invoices: poole päeva urban team event for 30 people = €90–€140 per person (€2,700–€4,200 total); full-day summer day for 80 people at a country manor = €150–€250 per person (€12,000–€20,000 total); Christmas party for 100 at a creative venue = €130–€180 per person. Every quote shows the 10% project management fee as a separate line – no hidden costs. Initial response within one business day, full proposal in 3–5 business days, no obligation.

Question 5

What makes Eventroom different from other event companies in Estonia?

Accepted Answer

Three concrete things. (1) **One contact and one invoice**: every supplier goes through us, you talk to one person and receive one invoice. (2) **An honest feedback culture**: I've publicly written about an event where we got NPS 6.4 and where I partially refunded the project management fee – that level of accountability is not standard in the market. (3) **I will say no** when the budget and the expectation don't match – in October 2025 I declined a €12,000 Christmas party brief that genuinely needed €17,000 to deliver as described. An honest partner is rarer than a good price.

Question 6

How far in advance should we book a summer day event?

Accepted Answer

Specific rule from 200+ events: summer day June 1–15 = book by end of previous September; July = by November; first half of August = by December; second half of August = by January. A real example from 2024: a client asked in November 2023 for "June 2024 summer day, 80 people, Vihula manor". Vihula already booked. By February, Padise also gone. In April we ended up at Toosikannu (90 minutes from Tallinn). The same client, asking in September 2023, would have had Vihula for €14,200. In April, Toosikannu cost €17,800. A late booking doesn't mean "no options" – it means "second-tier venue, 20–30% more expensive". For Christmas parties: start in August.
